Here we go! If you have thousand point of the seabed profile, you may follow the instruction below:
1. Open ABAQUS CAE
2. Go to Part module: Create Part: Name: analytical_rigid_part: select 3D as the Modeling Space, Analytical rigid as the Type, and Extruded shell as the Base Feature
3. Create any model (no need the exact model just rough model)
4. Assembly your model, mesh by instance or by part has no matter
5. Create Referene Point
6. Interaction module: Create Constraint: Rigid body: Analytical Surface: Edit: select analytical_rigid_part
7. Interaction module: Create Interaction: any valid type: select analytical_rigid_part as one of the regions involved in contact
8. Go to Jobs module, create Job-1
9. Write the input file in you Model (default saving folder is Temporary folder)
10. Edit your input file by using your current coordinate, the editing area:
*start, <coordinate x>, <coordinate y>
…
*line, <end of coordinate x>, <end of coordinate y>
11. Back to File: import: Model : Select the edited input file
